As a car enthusiast I own 3 cars and have a huge garage. I love my garage, I have all the tools and everything I need inside. Last week I got myself new garage doors and they are just great. They are fully automatic and very fast and safe.

Well my friend wants to. He wants to start making hot sports cars. He wants to develop his own brand and have Discovery channel come and do a show on him. Obviously this is not easy and it requires a lot of money. He has some money saved, but he will also need best business loans and financing. 

I told him it might be almost impossible to get good business financing leads this days, since money is tough to get due to credit crunch. He will try anyway since he feels that recession is the best time to start a new business.

I didn’t know that playing poker is so much fun. I visited a friend of mine yesterday and had some beers at his place. He told me he plays poker online every day and that he learned how to play poker about a year back. He plays Texas Holdem and he actually makes money with it. Enough to keep up with his expensive hobby – buying sports cars.

In my previous post I wrote about real estate in Hawaii. Now another thing comes to my mind. There will also always be demand for homes for elderly people, such as Virginia retirement communities. 

Old people have worked their whole live, they have money and they want a nice and safe place to live. A place where they can stay active and be surrounded by other older and successful people. I feel that such places will be even more in demand in the future and that an investment into Virginia retirement community can not be a bad idea.

Houses are mostly from $300s and I think that’s not a problem for older people that were sucessful in their life, so I see the prices go up in the future.

Ever been to Kauai before? Well you need to go, it looks amazing! I haven’t been there, but my friend was, he just returned from a trip. He went there to check out some Kauai real estate. He says now is the right time to buy and that Kauai is the perfect place. 

I sure hope to go there some day, but the way this crisis is turning out it might not be for at least few years.

When I started this blog I actually wanted to make it into a big car fan site. After few months of work I just threw that idea in the garbage. My web skills and time did now allow it. So I just went with Wordpress and this simple blog where I write about everything that comes to my mind.

My friend also owns a blog and he told me that I must put privacy policy on mine. He said I have to do it by the law. I never heard of something like this before and I really don’t think there is a low for such a thing! Anyway I thought that it would be a real pain to write one, but thant he told me about website privacy policy template. I love the idea and will use it.

I’m going out to a concert tonight with my girlfriend. I love concerts and this time it’s U2 concert! I will go to the airport first to see them come to my town, hopefully get an autograph (they sell for a lot of money on ebay), than right on to the concert. 

I got the ticket from U2 Ticket brokers. It was impossible to get them regualarly, they got sold out instantly. Also I didn’t know yet if I will be in town or go to a business trip in that time. I will let you know how it was, but I am pretty sure it will be GREAT!

In the building where I live we used to have very old and ugly looking mailboxes. Also it was really easy to reach in and take some mail out. I was always afraid someone will come in, take our mail out of the mailbox steal my identity. I heard a lot of such cases on TV and read about them on the Internet, so I was really afraid.

This weekend we decided to put an end to it. We had a meeting of all the people that live in the building and decided to get brand new, modern and safe mailboxes. It was not an easy task to find multiple mailboxes for flats and apartments, but at the end we decided to order them online. They will came in few days and from than on I can be sure that our mail will be secure and my personal information with it!
